Yesterday Dow Jones up $214 @ $8460 with GE cost per share up $0.14 @ $13.1 cost per share. The 2001 Grand Marquis Mercury manufactured by Ford at 6300 miles has 90 PSI compression in the left front cylinder number 5 while the rest have 170 PSI. Today My wife and I will check with our local Ford Dealer on the specifications and cost of the Ford Fusion 2010 car. We will see how much we would get for a trade in on our Grand Marquis LS 2001 car.
Yesterday we called Bob West the Dealer that sold us the J-3 lookalike Cub from Zlin Czech Republic manufacture. Today Bob West finally called me back and said he was in the hospital yesterday and this plane has two new problems in getting it fixed. The landing gear struts had been damaged and needed replacing due to the hard landing experienced after the only short flight I have made as pilot in command of this plane.
When the fabric covering of the replacement strut frames was painted to mach the plane it got cloudy so it needs repainting. The second problem is that the replacement for the radiator that was cracked wasn’t the same as the one that was in the plane so it has to be exchanged. This will take time as the radiators that were the same have been recalled by the manufacturer of them because of there tendency to crack. This plane was bought by us new in 2006 which has had many problems in getting it fixed so it would be good to fly in the U. S. on our runways.
Today we have two insurance problems. First AFLAC Cancer and Intensive care coverage for our daughter Gail Cannon ALAC keeps trying to get out of by harassing us on privacy issues they claim because I am paying for it. I think they are trying to get out of covering my daughter because of her health issues and we have to pay for her coverage. Next AVENCO my plane insurer is canceling my insurance on my plane June 1st next month. They refused to cover the above plane hard landing on our local airport runway that is different than the turf this type of plane lands on in Europe.
At Dow close today down $16 at $8410 GE down $0.03 at $13.07 this recession mat be at its bottom and will cause the prices to increase as the recovery growth stabilises.

Now our government owner 80% of AIG and this Insurance Corporation that also owns several airline aircraft has done me a taxpayer and consistent aircraft insurance that is going to be completely canceled after this month, this group has done me a great disservice.

11:10 6-16-09 Dow 8536 down .76 GE 12.50 Down .38 dollars. Mike Littrell of Avemco called and said I should call Mark Nichols A independent Aircraft Insurance man about getting insurance. He said that in three years from January of 2009 like January 2012 and my request for insurance slate would be wiped clean. He said he tried to get Insurance for me and after Falcon called Insurance Companies like AIG the main underwriter and they refused to insure me then all the others of the 11 underwriters would refuse me insurance until after 3 years. As to liability part, that is their main concern about insuring my type of plane. If I was going to carry a passenger other than my family member I would need a Biannual flight review and a annual on my plane and take the planes registration to My name only not to my Jack L. Doan 1994 Family Trust. Insurance if the main concern, not the FAA.
